[RMVX ACE] I WANT A PLATFORMER SCRIPT LIKE ARC ENGINE BUT I DON'T WANT TO DOWNLOAD IT OR GET REDIRECTED TO RANDOM SITES.....

CloseI need a copy and paste-able script like the scripts submitted here on RMN. Seriously, I don't want to download a file labeled with ".rb" and it being useless and not readable.
With an .rb file, to read it, just right click it and click "open with..." and then select notepad. I don't have the script on me because I'm using mobile, but learning how to open Ruby files and other files in Notepad will do you good.
Edit: if you didn't realize, .rb files are script files, you just have to open them in a text editor to get what is inside. Also Trihan, Arc engine is a platforming engine for VX Ace. I think there's a demo available which teaches you the functions way better than just the script file.

With scripts submitted to RMN, try looking for a a button labeled "View Script Code" at the very bottom, before the comments (if any). Should that button exist for the script you're looking at, it leads to a page where it is in a copy-paste format.
Of course, as a general rule, always give credit to the author of whatever scripts you might use somewhere in your project!

Here's the official site and the download is up
Try to search for the official creator's site, not somebody's else's site. That way you won't get viruses like Liberty said
