[RM2K3] [UNPAID] LOOKING FOR A FEW GAME TESTERS

Pages: 1
Need a few people to test my map made in RM2K3.

Hey all, thanks for all the responses. I am still looking for more people. I strongly dislike the idea of publicly posting my game even though I may or may not get more testers. So, if you're interested please PM me!

As of 05/07/2015 I have updated a bunch of stuff. Check out the log below if you're interested!

Brief Description:
It's an RPG made to be quick and simple to pick up. Also includes thought-provoking philosophical text. Strong emphasis on Difficulty and Character Customization.

Long Description:
This game has an extreme focus on character development, replayability, and creative classes. I intend for this game to have a very simple plot but a lot of flexibility in character development and itemization. Each class will have their own advantages, disadvantages, and two or more ways to play them.

At the moment, there are 6 classes fully functional and fully playable:
they are the Geoknight, Astromancer, Howler, Gambler, Illusionist, and Blood Knight.

The Geoknight is a class that specializes in the Defense stat and to some extent the Attack stat. The Defense stat can be used offensively as he has a skill whose damage scales off of Defense. The Attack stat will be the stronger damage option, of course, but you'll be weaker.

The Astromancer is an attempt to stray away thematically from the ordinary Mages, Elementalists, Conjurers, and the like. He operates in the same way as a Mage in that he's suppose to deal a lot of damage but I intend to ensure that he actually has glaring weaknesses (mp costs and low hp/armor).

The Howler is a self-buffer that relies on shouts to amplify his prowess. He is probably the simplest class tied with the Astromancer in terms of creativity but I hope to develop his uniqueness with help.

The Gambler is my most proud class at the moment as his abilities are mostly battle event scripts that uses a lot of switches and variables. Basically he rolls dies and they determine how successful he is in battle. He can alter the results by using a buff called "Lady Luck" as well as purchase dice (his main weapon) that increase results by 1.

The Illusionist has abilities that scale off of ATK and INT. He can be extremely strong if you stat him for ATK but he can not use the conventional ATK gear so you'll have to rely on Level ups and Accesories. INT will help him be more supportive as he has a heal and a revive along with a DMG spell that scales off of it/

The Blood Knight uses his own HP as the resource for his skills. Typical DPSer with Healing options for his team but can't heal himself.

If you are interested in testing my game please respond below or PM.

Below are the subjects for which I'd like to receive criticism:
On a scale of 1-10

Fun factor
Difficulty (probably the most important)
Class uniqueness
and anything else you think is relevant.

This game is not completed so I'm not looking for criticism on:
Plot
Content
Graphics (I used default but will enhance it later)
and anything else that shouldn't be expected to be fine-tuned in a non completed game.

Updates
05/07/15

-Separated the 1 map I had to several smaller maps that represent zones, residence space, etc.

-Now has a Random Damage System to support all the Enemy Switch skills. This means when an enemy does any Attack (90% are Switch Skills) it will randomly hit someone in the party. This may seem a bit redundant but this allows for me to control and calculate the Damage Equation since the built in one with the Attack Influence and Magic Influence is extremely bad and leads to large Stat Values that effectively doesn't allow for a lengthy game.

-Now has an additional class the Illusionist.

-Reorganized a lot of variables and switches to simplify tracking related ones. This only affects me but thought I should add that in for my own memory.

05/23/15

-Finished 2nd town Gaule and added a new zone Cemetery.

-Added class Blood Knight and changed Paladin to Geoknight

-A lot of switch and variable reorganization

-Fixed a lot of improperly functioning triggers
1. I don't use any of those aside from email. Why not PM?
2. It sounds like you're trying to sell your game, not have it tested.
3. If you wanted fast results, do a sort of "here's a link to what I want tested." No need for a 3 page paper.
1. I clearly listed E-mails. I will add PM. I am new to this site so I wasn't aware of that feature.

2. I was just trying to make it interesting / provide the genre in a detailed fashion in order to attract specific testers. I wouldn't want someone who doesn't like dungeon crawlers to test my game.

3. I didn't imply anywhere that I wanted fast results and a "3 page paper" as a comparison is a poor use of exaggeration. I am not going to post a link to my game in public because I wouldn't want an unfinished game to be spread around.

Thanks for the criticism but only one was worthy for me to consider. Here's a suggestion for you; next time you advise people on what to do, do not present it in bullet points or in a numbered system as that seems rushed therefore rude and patronizing. You're not my professor so don't act like it.
I am interested in game testing.I have e-mail,Steam,and Skype.
I'd be interested in having a go at testing it.
my email is leejanes1234@gmail.com hope to hear from you soon.
