PRIVATE GAME PAGE UPLOAD QUESTION

If I upload a private game page and it stays private for a while like say a two weeks or a month or more, once I make it public will it still be featured as a new game on the front page?

If your uploading a new game page right now and mark it as private before it gets accepted I believe even the mods can't see it until it is not private.

But if you mark it not private right away it won't work this way.

I'm making guesses.

my reason for asking is because i'm hoping to have it play tested before it reaches the public.

What's the file size?

You might be able to fit it in the locker or on Media Fire.

I think game pages won't show up as new games unless you add a release date (it's a field in the management). You could just add in a date then keep changing it if you need more time. And yes, if you tick the private box that means no-one can see it bar those you add to the game as testers/developers/etc. It will have to go through the submission queue first, though, so the staff there will see it but you cannot add a download to a page until it is through the queue, so...
