WHAT YOU GUYS THINK OF FRANK ZAPPA?

You mean the Zlatan Ibrahimovic lookalike?
I don't think I've ever listened to him of my own accord, but my army buddy is pretty big into him so I've had some exposure. His music isn't my style, but it's generally pretty good.
Look, I don't need your cheap aroma or your little-bo-peep diploma.
I'll just put you in a coma with some dirty love.

I enjoy his music but I don't really THINK about him...
The most thought I give him is whenever someone mentions Frank Zappa, I think, "Hey, that's the guy that named his daughter 'Moon Unit'."

Everyone talks about "Moon Unit" when they think of Zappa. Nobody talks about his other daughter, "Diva Thin Muffin Pigeen."
The more acidic the Zappa song, the better. I remember the very first time I found enlightenment on an abandoned iPod Mini filled with vintage licks from The Man and the Mother's of Invention. Sweet elation. Then, the school bus hit a large pothole and the device's hard drive clicked for the last time.
Frank Zappa taught me tragedy by showing a glimpse of a truth beyond truths, and then dangling it above my head like some freakin' neko being assailed by Christmas tinsel.

Yeah, but that doesn't quite roll off the tongue. "Moon Unit Zappa" has a certain je ne sais pas quoi about it.
I grew up on Zappa. Have some six CDs with his music. Somehow, I don't listen to him anymore and sometimes i'm thinking about it. How I should listen some tracks about catholic girls and Artificial Rhonda with a plastic pee...
I like The Mothers and other later band members as a whole a lot more than just Zappa. I've seen footage of a show he did in the 80s and now it can never be unseen.
I used to listen to them all the time in my teens but I don't anymore, mostly because I'm sick of listening to the same music as my dad XD
