I am a fairly advanced user of rm2k3. I was wondering how one goes about making a custom "load game" menu. Like, one that allows you to load another save file while playing without having to go to the title screen.
I realise this needs a patch or something, but the only one I know of is built for rm2k.
Any ideas?

Going back to the title screen takes two extra presses of <Z>. Horrors! Why is this load menu so crucial to the game? We might be able to come up with a different method of displaying/altering that information without hacking the program.
Well, I have the patch that allows you to skip the main title screen. Which basically means that it starts a New Game every time. I've seen it before where the first map is a mock title with weather effects, moving backgrounds, and pictures.
I just don't know how to implement a load menu screen into it...

You must be talking about powermode, and no, while you technically start a "new game" everytime, you can take it to the load screen.
How do you use the load screen? By re-sending to the title screen? I think it will just start over.

No, if you use the patch, there will be no title screen. You have to use variables and auto-start events to send it to the load screen. Basically you make your own title screen!
Yes, but there is no Event that involves loading. There is a patch that creates quicksave and load menu functions, but it is only for rm2k3 v1.5 so I was just wondering if there in another patch or any alternative.
