CloseI don't know if anyone has been talking about this, but I feel they should, because this game looks pretty dope, and I'm all about getting exposure to things I think are dope.

It's already been funded, so don't worry about it. We all know that RETRO-SEXY and indie games go together like bread and butter, no surprise, but what I'm most intrigued by the interesting combination of genres; Point and Click, Shoot em Up, with RPG elements? I think that's worth following. I'm kinda excited to see what they do with this and just wanted to share a little enthusiasm. Check out some screenshots!

Starr Mazer blends two classic genres, the Point-and-Click Adventure and Classic-style Shoot ‘Em Up, into a retro-sexy sci-fi epic with modern design sensibilities, open-middled gameplay and RPG elements.
The game will feature a collaborative soundtrack by Alex Mauer (VEGAVOX, Serious Sam: Random Encounter), Manami Matsumae (Mega Man), The Protomen, Virt (Shovel Knight) and many more!

The art in Star Mazer is fucking glorious, to be sure. My room mate is following it a lot closer than I am, so I'm more than likely gonna wait for his thoughts on it once it comes out. Maybe I'll pick it up if he thinks it's good.
I know these guys. Met em a few times - they really know what they're doing with this game. They're truly making a work of art here.

I can't play games like that anymore. I either focus on my ship and don't see where I shoot or go, or I focus on aligning my shots with the target and die from enemy fire.
