I was thinking about custom sideview battlers for Sorcelleria. However, I do not want to use those found in game rips. Are there any basics in battler drawing ?
The size would be roughly the same than 2k3 (80 pixels in average).

Simply practise drawing in general, not just side-view. Look up pictures of animals/monsters (whatever you use in your game) and use those as reference - study their anatomy. Try out stuff and see what works for you.
If you have zero drawing experience don't expect a tutorial to solve your problems if you want to make your own side-view battlers. You'll only get good through practising lots.
