POST A FUN FACT... ABOUT YOURSELF!

Speaking of breakfast, Cocoa Puffs is probably my favorite cereal ever.
I'm not really into eating that sugary stuff as much anymore since I'm in my 20s and whatnot, but hell, I still get my ass some o'dem Puffs because chocolate crunchy balls in milk is just straight up legit.

Since my father died when I was about 8, we've all be raised by my mother who... isn't a saint and isn't an angel but is a very strong, capable (and at times extremely silly) woman.
I relate so so much to this, except my father is still alive but has moved to europe when I was 6. But yeah let's hail our awesome mommas!
I just felt the random need of expressing how awesome my mom is. She's like ridiculously sugary and sour at the same time, extremely forgetful and clumsy yet extremely strong and capable, one of the first tattooist women of Brazil and proud of it, and she's been through a lot in the weirdest ways possible....
...I guess I could tell a few facts about us.
Me, mom and my deceased grandma share a lot of traits.
We're all extremely forgetful, silly and independant, we also have a very strong personality, are extremely stubborn and we're prone to doing stupid shit. Repeatedly.
Mom's forgotten her watch on the freezer. For months. and she looked for it everyday. She also tried to discard her engagement ring when she was dating my ex-stepfather / father of my brother like 5 times and it always returned. She forgot it at a taxi, threw it out of the window (twice), left it at a restaurant...
She jokingly predicted the death of my grandaunt. she was a lady that'd everyday ring our doorbell for hours still and would creepily ask about everybody's financial condition while judging the house and stuffs. (she honestly asked what we'd be doing with grandma's clothes the moment she learnt of her death)
So mom said "oh Aunt Ruth died )':" and everybody believed, then she said it was a joke. 3 days later she was found dead. And, obviously, nobody believed. I feel kinda sorry for the woman, she was just cold but not bad.
My grandma was a professional singer until she had to step off of her profession due to a repeated condition on her vocal chord, gifting her with an extremely low and raspy voice. She was a talented pianist as well and I still have her keyboard with me, even though it doesn't work. Her family was always against her pursing art, being a singer at that time was equalled to being a slut, but she pursued it anyways and passionately expressed herself in whatever she did. During her last 2 decades she was a hair stylist -- one of the best of our town.
My mom practiced Muay Thai -- and got kicks on her stomach as part of her training -- untill she'd been pregnant of me for 5 months. Yeah i endured 5 months of kicks as a fetus. Lol.
She also fell down 2 sets of stairs 3 days before I was born. And she was. Fine.
We had some complications at birth due to a blood condition she and my brother share, which rendered her hospitalized for 60 days. They even took her for dead, a priest came to send her, and the obitum papers and stuffs were all signed when a friend of hers, a doctor, heard of it and ran a simple blood exam and found out of the condition. A blood transfusion and some sort of stabilizer ensued and she was fine in no time.
In fact that's where my name comes from, it's J. Victor because she faced death xD
Whoa that was a text
I love my lineage <3
EDIT: WHOA IT WAS IN FACT A LOT BIGGER THAN I'D EXPECTED OMG @_@ I kinda got absorbed in my memories

author=Corfaisusauthor=LockeZWhich test did you take*, and did you have breakfast that morning?
I have an IQ of 163
*Not to say IQ means squat because intelligence is all about applying knowledge and patterns to benefit from your current situation instead of how much you can retain.
I took a number of different IQ tests as a kid and teenager, I don't know what they were called. I think I got as low as 154 with one of the tests? My most recent IQ test was almost 15 years ago, since I'm not vain enough to hire someone to administer a real IQ test to me as an adult, and I'm pretty sure the online ones are fakey bullshit. Do you know of a self-administered one that's worth taking?
Breakfast is a yes, I didn't stop eating breakfast until college.
It's not a super meaningful number, but "applying knowledge and patterns to benefit from your current situation" is absolutely what IQ tests check for.
Joseph, that was all really cool. :o
edit: I was homeless from the ages of 12 to 19. Is that a fun fact, or just a fact?

that might have sounded offensive or stupid but it's kind of a compliment-ish thingy I guess not really a compliment more like just whoa
i've heard stories of my greatgrandma being just like us three
-my mom had hair of all colors besides green, and shaved hair too
-my grandma would yell my mom's name in the middle of the street dressed like a -psycho with her hair made to look as if it were a giant dead rat to embarass her whenever she did something wrong
-my grandma'd often run from home herself, and once when she was 12 she ran off to perform at a club since it was already her dream to be a star, my greatgrandma found her there even after everybody in the neighbourhood concealing her whereabouts, and with her shoe "gently" asked the security to allow her in
then she dragged my grandma by her hair back home
edit: and i'm a potato
we got way less fierce through the generations lololol

author=LockeZIt was still amazing.
Fun fact: That's not actually me in that picture
I have a weird attraction of trying to sympathize with my enemies.
This makes my enemies hate me a lot more... :(
Another thing: I was once mistaken for a 16 year-old just recently ( I'm 27, but I'm barely 1.6m tall and have a very youthful face ). I can also do graphical art with both my left and right hands, but I'm not ambidextrous. And I don't have a single degree to my name ( I'm self taught in nearly everything I do ).

I get mistaken for a 17 or 15-year old whenever I'm clean-shaven, even though I'm 25. I still feel younger than I really am, though...

What kind of person actually has "enemies"
That sounds like a fun fact on its own and I want to know more

My right arm is darker than the rest of my body. Like, way darker than the rest of my body. I'm like Wrath from the Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 anime.

Do you rest it on the window frame when you drive therefore exposing that arm to higher levels of sunlight?

The kind of people who still leave their enemies alive.
author=LuchinoWelcome to my life. Except for me it's usually 15 or younger, and i'm left handed for drawing/writing-- right handed for most else.

author=LockeZI've a... rather tumultuous history with some rpgmaker fellas around the place, most of them I've mended but some folks from RMwebs insist on continuing to be a pain in the butt.

I mean me and Libby just as an example, though I don't think I'd classify her as an enemy at all nowadays, since I've had some good times with her and she like me doesn't seem capable of holding a grudge long.
We'll still bicker but y'know.

My eternal enemy is da police
Fuck 'em no justice no peace
In all seriousness, my arms have this incredibly odd gradient to them where they're tan on top but white as a bed-sheet when you turn them over. It's because I simply don't turn them over when I go out to tan, but it still looks really odd.

It's not a super meaningful number, but "applying knowledge and patterns to benefit from your current situation" is absolutely what IQ tests check for.
The one I took recently was more of a mental evaluation to see whether or not I proved positive for Asperger's and my IQ (although, honestly, I was probably less patient than I could've been and I straight-up didn't answer the easiest of questions because they were "below me") came out to 120. It seems fair, so if you're ever in that situation, I'd recommend that.
And book smarts won't necessarily help you in an alien environment. That's what I meant by "current situation"; adapting to a fluid atmosphere instead of an easily identifiable constant.
