[RMVX ACE] GOOD SITES FOR TILESETS? IS DS PACK GOOD WITH RTP STYLE SPRITES?

I've been looking into getting some new tilesets to get away from the original stuff, because everyone seems to hate it. I was looking into the DS resource pack, but I didn't know if those tilesets would look good with sprites in the original VX Ace style. It's also been very hard to find good tilesets, so if anyone knows of some good ones, I'd love to see them. Thank you so much in advance.

Theres a lot of good tilesets for VX/VX Ace, here are some
Celianna’s Tilesets
Hanzo's Tilesets
I'd also recommend checking out some of the other commercial sets - there's a few other styles like the pseudo 3D ones and the gameboy-style ones and the harvest moon style set and a few others.

As to your question about RTP sprites with DS tiles - no, they don't fit well. The DS set does come with a bunch of sprites, though, and it has more added on in the DS+ set and the various sets released on RPGMakerWeb (they also have a ton of edits for other styles. I'd recommend checking out the Staff Resources for more.)

The DS+ Resource Pack also includes a character generator, although it isn't as easy to use as the default VX Ace one.

The RPG Maker Web store has some good tile sets if you are willing to open your wallet for most of them. Other than that, we're beyond the era of a community flush with free and original tile sets simply up for grabs.

Pixel Myth tiles are pretty good, and Time Fantasy tiles have this retro RM2000 feel if you don't mind the fact that they are pretty amateurish for the price. These both are not free though..
