Hello all, I'm here to design Boss Battles, creative intuitive items, or combat systems! I can also punch up descriptor's or come up with a cool character idea, just don't make write a whole story!

Give me your thoughts so I can stop agonizing over my own!

Try to find a way to make this boss battle better.
Ok, first of all

Am I supposed to make this a turn based fight or make this pre existing fight better?
2) I haven't played this game,but is this boss as horribly designed as it looks?

Ya, I was just making a joke XD, well sadly I don't need any help so sorry.

Ok, first of all while HP is good for boss and player, it appears the boss can spam "it's too much" and that player has too run in circles exhaust-fully.

To fix that, make it so the boss teleports a appriopriate distance away after using "It's too much" I was thinking the player could be thrown like a heavy ball in air, to create tension between the boss and player, in terms of distance and finding the boss.

Also, increase the length of the area by 2.5 it's original, the current area should be departed by a .5x of its self, with no objects - connected to a duplicate of the original with the boxes reversed. This is so the boxes are well
spread out in relation to the strategy.

Another boss designer? Funny how I recently paused a project so I could turn to a different one that's all about boss fights. Not to mention that LockeZ here on this forum made a topic about designing boss fights because he's so passionate about it. We should make a boss design group.

I'm not sure if I should already pitch a game submission, because I don't have anything worth a screenshot yet. But I wouldn't mind having some extra people look over my design decisions. The gameplay systems are mostly finalized, I just need to make the equipment items, the final class, plan the item distribution and, most importantly, make bosses (which I wouldn't want to do until I have all player options done).
I have lots of ideas :) Also, I can give output based on someone's needs if be!
You can always generalize info when looking for boss review to a paragraph
, unless it's bonus boss level material.

I get so much fun out of designing bosses, both of an action rpg sort and a turn based sort.
