There are many types of Battle Systems, such as the ATB System, the original turn based Battle system, that weird hybrid one in the Devil Survivor series, etc. Which are your favorite? Which do you hate? What do you like/hate about them. Post all that here. Also, you can post links to your favorite Battle systems for the RPGmaker series, such as Yanfly's, or Battlers, etc.

My favorite type of battle system are ABS's similar to Star Ocean or Megaman Battle Network. I just like being able to control my characters through button inputs, rather than text commands. It feels much more engaging for me.

I like Press Turn Systems - it's basically ATB without waiting for bars to fill or mashing attack so your opponent doesn't get three attacks in while you try to select a skill.
