I've been messing around with the RM2k3 Battle System coming up with some cool effects; however, I noticed an option under the Specific Background in the Battle Processing event and that would be the Deep and Shallow commands.
I've looked around google and this website. I also did some testing to see the difference and I can't really notice anything different.
Can anyone tell me what the difference between the two settings are?

Whoa, this topic title made me think it's about the depth in a battle system and what makes it deep/shallow, but it's about backgrounds instead.

They affect how rows of battlers are "slanted" into the background. It's supposed to help with perspective, depending on the background.
Play around with it some! It's difficult to explain in just words.
