Yep, I'm an amateur rapper/producer, and when I'm laying down phunky phresh jamz I use the monikor DJ Drewid cuz it sounds cooler than Andrew Nixon and every other DJ name was taken.

People have described my style as "gothic hip-hop" and "industrial rap". One of my favorite things to do is to remix a straight rock song into a thugged out version without losing the feel of the origional.

MY BEST EXAMPLES OF THIS
http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/122523 - Arabian Nights - On this one I sampled the opening Eastern-style guitar part to "4 Degrees" by Tool. This is sort of a joint effort between me and a friend of mine, with me doing roughly 90% of it on my lonesome. I liked the way it turned out but hadn't really created anything that matched or exceeded it until...
http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/170948 - I Hate Everything - I stayed up all night working on this one. I sampled the repeating guitar from "I Hate Everything About You" by 3 Days Grace and really flexed my DJing muscles to equalize it and master it the best I could.

So if you've got a few minutes to spare and you're a fan of Tool, 3 Days Grace, hip-hop, rock, or just music in general really, I'd really appreciate it if you'd give it a listen and let me know what you think. If you only have time for one I'd go with I Hate Everything since it's more recent and therefor superior (though it's a bit harder if you're not into that kind of thing).

PLZPLZPLZ GIMME FEEDBACKz. I know I'm new here and nobody really knows me but I'd really appreciate it if people could check it out for me and give me a short review on what they liked and didn't like so I can continue to grow as an artist.

Thanks so much for your time

I liked both of them, but the second one got a little repetitive here and there. Other than that, I found it to be pretty enjoyable.
