[RMVX ACE] [PAID] SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED SCRIPTER FOR VXA

Hello!

We are building a tactics RPG and are utilizing GubiD's Tactical Battle System as our core battle engine. We tried out the 3D Layy Meta isometric projection system included with the GTBS but it didn't cover our needs for a map system, so here we are now!

What we need is a scripter that can take the GTBS engine and integrate it (especially the grid-based movements and battle mechanics like arrow projectiles across the map) to be fully functional on a 2D isometric map.

The isometric maps will be created using TileD and will look something like this: http://img08.deviant...son-d4asgvm.png (the maps will not be able to spin around ala FFT since they are 2D)

We'll also need your help to create a collision/height map script for the isometric maps so that it can all work together properly in battle. Some light scripting support may be needed after this initial GTBS+iso map compatibility script is complete but mostly this would be the meat of the job.

If interested, please PM me here with your rates and anything else you think I should know about the task or yourself. :)

Thanks!

I took out that 3-D map thing when I made my game.

Note you'll need a fix so you can use items without crashing the game.

I think the script is incomplete and many functions that should be there aren't fully realized.

If you use the spin menu there is a small bug where you can end your turn
on a separate menu and not be able to perform actions on the next turn.

Not too many people are familiar with this script or its existence.

Wish I could help, but I don't know RGSS3.
(But would be happy to provide an unencrypted copy of my game if needed.)
Heya Kory!

Thanks for the heads up about the GTBS script - after playing around with it some already I'm aware there's a buncha bugs.

I actually prefer the 3D Layy Meta isometric maps to the classic RPG overhead angle. The 3D Layy Meta was just too resource demanding because of the true 3D nature of those maps, but I do still really want a 2D isometric map style. I can handle making the art & designing the isometric maps in TileD but I just need someone who can work out the GTBS grid movement style to work properly with the new map angles. Fingers crossed somebody can help!

If Synthetic Odessy had an archived download on the Wayback Machine, I would totally point you to that.

Aside from this, doing a 2-D tactics game with GTBS is kinda on my stack, but, I've a mess of projects already on my plate!
