WHAT’S YOUR ALL-TIME FAVORITE CHOCOLATE BAR?
Posts
author=zacheatscrackersAwwww yeah
Let me correct that for you.
author=zacheatscrackersNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! MY ALLERGIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you. On a side note, I actually have an allergy to peanuts, though I'm sure Reese's is pretty good.

They told me I was mad when I said I was going to create a spidertable. Who’s laughing now!!!

Thanks for sharing that you have an allergy to a thing someone else likes I guess?
Sooz you can't get Cadbury Creme Eggs? You can have mine, I think they are sickly sweet. I can understand not being able to buy them in shops if there is an importation ban, but surely you can get them individually via an online non-US retailer?
For me,

I'm so glad we don't celebrate Halloween here, the shops are on holiday hiatus until we get Christmas kick in around November.

author=AlichainsWhat like a cacao tree? What do you mean by "home grown"?
Home grown chocolate would be awesome. It's a shame it's a little hard to find up here in Mass. I try to go fair-trade when I can nowadays.
Here in mexico we got a lot of mexican brands of chocolate that you guys don't know of, but speaking about american chocolate i'd have to choose the reeses peanut butter cups. They're so good.
I absolutely adore peanut butter, i think it's the greatest canadian creation.
It should be noted that peanut butter can be sweet or not.

I really should have phrased that better.
I don't like peanut butter in anything too sweet, like candy.

Hershey made a deal where it's sort of illegal to import the actual Cadbury eggs (along with any other Cadbury product or even products that vaguely resemble Hershey products), probably knowing that their inferior impostors can never live up to the real thing.
I also love kinder chocolate products a lot. Kinder bueno in particular is delicious.
I heard you americans don't have kinder things (like the kinder surprise eggs), although i don't recall exactly why.

Yeah, kinder chocolate is pretty good, and those buenos are heavenly.
Sooz, that's awful. If you really need a fix you'll have to wait until Easter, but PM me an address and I'll send you a pack.
Trust me I've done Australian care packages before to the states and they got though. Of course if the Hershey Police are at the border that may be a different story.

Aren't Kinder Eggs the ones with toys inside?
America is the land of silliness and overreaction. The worry is that a child would choke on the toy.
Ignore, of course, how many fruits have pits you could choke on, too.

That's on the parents. It would be so easy to introduce the kiddies to the joys of peaches and oranges and strawberries and blueberries and watermelon and mameys and mangoes...

Chocolate is a fruit... in a way.

You don't feed US children a whole fruit, you feed them fruit sliced into bits. Preferably by someone else.
We want to do as little work as possible in our child care. And in general.
I should grab some Kinders from the Middle Eastern grocery tomorrow. And their candied fruits. Other countries get some awesome candy. (Augh I miss Japan's KitKats. Green tea! Cherry blossom! All we ever get is chocolate and white chocolate. WHY MUST US TASTES BE AS BORING AS POSSIBLE?!)
Again, strong feelings about candy.
