The dude that's 22 sounds like he's never had faith in politics or taken time to understand politics.
The illusion that nothing changes is due to people only seeing the one change and assume that it was inevitable and bound to happen and they "like totally can't imagine anything else of happening". Or I guess there's the Orwellian option that they've forgotten that things were any different.
If you want to give a shit, educate yourself. If you want to wallow in your own apathy and cuddle up with your anomie, it's not a big deal. When people say "the ignorant masses" they have to be referring to someone.

Also, how is more precautions on who can buy hand guns a bad thing??? Who needs hand guns?!? or sub-machine guns?!? or assault rifles?!?
If you want to hunt use a bow, not a gun.
Say what? I just don't understand anti-gun people. Police don't really enforce laws in my town, so what would you suggest the people do to maintain order? A force of militia armed with bows?
But then we would outlaw bows. Then only the bad guys would get their hands on bows, because the good guys follow the rules. Bows don't kill people, people do!

Azn: Abortion is a fundamentally retarded political standpoint. Not because it's right or wrong, but because Republicans have no intention of banning it since it's a hot button topic that is occasionally useful.
Well, today is the day, people. Get out there and vote.
I don't think I can vote today (my dad is volunteering at the polls all day for $450 bucks, so I have no way to get anywhere, besides that I don't know if/where I'm registered to vote, and I'm going to be really busy from 7 onwards) but I think it's a given Obama will win New York anyway, no?
I care less about this election than the last one I was eligible to vote in because I no longer need to vote against bush.
