Like Broken Gauntlet?

I guess I could at least make an improved story.
People also hated the thing I did after every battle by disposing the enemies.
I might be able to implement a random encounter system or an enemy touch event system.

I would still be tied to the limitations of the script though.
There's no help / tutorials on how to use it / not fully developed in my opinion.
Is there anything out there besides GTBS?

there are a few other, includingly in other game engines even
but there's a lot of depth on GTBS, check its redmine!
and yes, you've already got you feet wet with srpgs and there's room for improvement in BG, you could try a second SRPG~

I’ve never actually played any of your games before, but a puzzle game sure sounds nice to me. Besides, we already have enough turned based RPG’s and visual novels on here as it is. Why not make something that’s clearly not represented that much on RMN and go for something against the grain? Come on - be a rebel. *nudge, nudge*

Yes, yes, I swear one day I’ll give one of your games the ol’ Addit tries in due time. But in the meantime and betweentime, maybe if you make that puzzle game I might be…"persuaded" to do it. :D

@Addit - I get the feeling that many people like my puzzle games more, but they always seem to get lower downloads than when I make an RPG (And I have made some pretty crappy RPGs that seem to have gotten over 1000 downloads somehow.) I think I need to find a way to make a new puzzle game stand out somehow.

I have made:

4 Turn Based RPGs
2 Puzzle Games
1 Tactical RPG (The only XP / VX / Ace Tactics Game on RMN still.)
1 Visual Novel (Using Ren'Py)

But maybe I need to make a game called Welp! and say in the description that the community demanded that I do it.
Make a sequel to Broken Gauntlet. Let it stand as your foray into strategy RPG's. There were some seriously good things in that game. I for one liked how ruthlessly efficient the AI was. Attacking and then moving away if possible to prevent counterattack.
