LOST IN PROJECTS!

So i have these buttload of projects,And i finally can use rpgmaker proper in my new laptop (since the first was overheating...).
So here is the project that i have:
Finalbound:Tenth Dimension:
It was the first game that i made on rpgmaker 2k,I was really excited about making it
I dreamed of game that contain several gameplay styles like zelda, punchout (don't ask me why..),But still remaining the RPG elements.mostley dragon quest RPG elements.
Earthbound X:
A Earthbound fan game that was inspired by a picture...The game was a cross between Earthbound (duh..) and final fantasy and a little bit of megaman x elements.
the game is kinda 10% completed with all items from the original earthbound (srsly..that where all the time gone in making this game..).
Dragon Knight:Royal Quest:
Since all the people doing it..I tried to make a NES style rpg with a cross between Dragon Quest and Final fantasy.and that's it.
Xperminia:
Some day i was really bored and i tried to make this Metroid style RPG with this cluncky movement like in Ultima games. The screen was really small like 48x48.
And i tried to make a custom battle system with custom Stats and whatnot,It looks fine.
SaGa Legend:
heavily inspired from Both SaGa games in the gameboy and Phantasy star i tried to make this Cross between them..(I really need to stop with this "Cross" thing..)
I drew the battlers like three of them.and that's it.
Final Fantasy:Hellish Light:
I tried to do Final Fantasy III game on a rpgmaker 2k3 with Job system,Jump command,Mainley i wanted to make a perfect NES Final Fantasy that is loyal to the original.
Fredrick to the rescue:
A really, really aweful game i made since it lacked testing i didn't realized how many bugs and crappy eventing was in,so i remade the game from scratch,I planned 10 stages, achievement system at the end of every stage,Titload of Secrets, and Fredrick animation when attacking.

So what should i start with..?
Whichever is closest to being complete OR the one you most want to do. Seriously, just make your games. Why are you asking us. What are we gong to tell you? That you should make a game. So make a game.

I have this problem a lot. I have found that the only way I can keep my sanity is to lock into a single project and just work on that. If I get ideas for other projects, I just jot the ideas down in a Google doc and then continue working on the primary game (an idea I think I got from Red_Nova? Or was it Sooz? Or maybe they both said it sometime? XD )

In cases where I'm really feeling burnt-out on a long project, I'll allow myself a week or two to fool around with a side project, or if a contest comes up, I allow myself to take a break sometimes to participate in that.

As for your projects, Earthbound X and Dragon Knight: Royal Quest sound the most interesting to me ^_^

Sir Redd of Novus: He who made Prayer of the Faithless that one time, and that was pretty dang rad! :D

This.

Have a big main project going on, and take a break every now and then to do a small side project. From personal experience, it took me about a year and a half of near constant work to complete Soul Sunder. However, I took a month long break to create Remnants of Isolation with unity and Sooz. It was a much needed break, and gave my brain a break from the one game I've been toiling away at for almost a year. When the IGMC development period was over, I went back to Soul Sunder and worked at a faster pace due to my mind being refreshed and refocused. You'll get a lot more work done that way than just having one single project to work on over a long period of time.

Also, like unity said, if you're having trouble keeping focus on a project, write it down in a separate document. DON'T actually work on it. Just get the idea down. That'll allow you to focus on your main project. I wouldn't go too in depth, though, since then you'd spend more time designing the game than working on the one you're supposed to be finishing.
I really wantd to complete the first one since it the one that i spend like a year and a half making it...and it kinda half way through completion.but lately i didn't get much focus on it...so a switched on earthbound x and after that dragon knight...
So i might start working on dragon knight it more of comfortable zone for me to work on.
And unity have a good point..I don't really write down ideas i just improvise the whole thing...which is bad right?.

I wouldn't say that. I don't really plan things out, I just go with the flow.

Planning works for some people, and some people thrive on spontaneous inspiration. Do whatever works for you. I could get easily get bored, or even discouraged, if everything is planned out, and I'm just working down a massive checklist. I'd rather just make it up as I go.

And make whatever game you wanna make. If you feel better bouncing around projects and that works for you, then go for it. If down the road, you have nothing to show but 1000 unfinished games, then it would be time to rethink your approach.

Xpermia sounds like something about pixelated wieners.
Combining Metroid with Ultima and lack of pixels sounds very interesting (making low-res games is fun, check out ice cool results of low-rez jam).

It's just a hobby. He doesn't have to finish anything.
