HASBRO'S NEWEST STAR WARS FIGURES...WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK!

Look at the paint job on this! Look at the face! "Moisturize me! Moisturize me!" I've been a toy collector for years, and knowing full well that the market is being flooded with this trash, I really don't see The Force Awakens toys ever being worth much. The prequel toys never really went up in value.
Hasbro's Star Wars Rebels line is much better quality and so is their Black Collection.

To be honest, if you want to buy Star Wars toys that'll be worth something down the road, seriously, pick up a Hera or a Sabine figure.

Thought I was the only toy collector here!
I like them for what they are. I have most of the 5POA 3 3/4 figures except two of them. I'm a MOC collector though so I like their packaging and they display nicely on my wall. I honestly haven't been impressed with the Black Series 3 3/4 or the 6inch for the most part recently. Definitely not for the price. I'll buy Marvel Legends for that and get a great articulated figure with a BAF peice.
I mostly collect old 90s toys like Toybiz X-Men. But I couldn't pass up the TFA craze and I do enjoy new sets especially for something like a new a Star Wars movie.

Lego: bah! Absolute toy deluge. Toy stores are overpacked with these Lego figures. I'm serious about Star Wars Rebels Hera Syndulla and Sabine Wren. I've done the research on these. For two years, Hasbro refused to make them, and now, because they're female, they don't even get independent packaging. Most toy stores and department stores don't carry them, so they're really hard to find unless you specifically go looking for them online, and then it's hard to get a reasonable price on them. I'm telling you: Hera and Sabine are going to be rare. Hera more so because Sabine's the more popular one.
EDIT: @InfectionFiles: personally, I usually don't mind, but I do expect the figure to have a halfway decent paint job, not that nightmare I posted. I don't play with these, despite the occasional urge, and I take a good look at what I'm getting.

Please tell me they didn't cost much...
Some of the not-so-legal made in china stuff we get here have better quality for like, quarter dollar a-piece.
The Lego looks good, though. Why not go Lego?

There's nothing wrong with Lego. Lego looks great. It's just that there's so much of it, there's really no point.

Here's a Black Series Rey with BB-8. The facial sculpt isn't very good, but the body sculpt, you can see is much better quality than the picture in the OP, has more points of articulation, and doesn't look like it was painted by a chimpanzee that doesn't know what humans look like.
Now, the main toy line is supposed to be like the Kenner line, which only had five points of articulation, so that's actually a plus for the OP toy, but it's so shoddy that the Black Series version is an improvement in every way.
EDIT: Why, oh why, did they have to use Hasbro for the new toy lines (I know, I know: it's owned by Disney).
This is why you order Bandai or MegaHouse or BanPresto figurines. No wait, that's anime. nm
(I mean, really, look at this shit: http://www.fromjapan.co.jp/blog/en/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Article-3-Image-3.jpg )
I did find some SW by Bandai:

I am a toy collector too! In a sense. I buy toys for my kids.
Maybe I will show of the broken pieces of amiibos collection I have going.

I just bought my gf, a Zelda fangirl, a Link Figma action figure off kijiji. There's a Samus Aran one I want to get her next, and an Iron Man I'd like down the line. They're so beautiful. Makes Tod McFarland's stuff look like crap.
