GREETINGS FROM AN OLD RM2KER

greetings rmn, I'm new here.

I was on don's rm2k forums, gamingw, dark dominion and some smaller and probably long forgotten sites back in 2002-2006ish, going by rm2kguy as well as bobberticus. think I saw a couple of familiarish names when I was briefly lurking around here past couple days, don't know if anyone will remember me.

back then I started many nameless poorly planned overambitious rpgs using rpg maker 2000 and 2003, probably posted a handful of screenshots, and never released anything ;)

anyway, a friend and I have been vaguely starting to plan an rpg project and rpg maker MV caught my eye, mostly thanks to the switch to javascript. I loved rm2k back in the day but you sure had to jump through hoops to do cool custom stuff. not that I didn't love the challenge, but I think it caused me to focus my energy and time in all the wrong places

anyway, thought I'd check out the community. so, hi.
