i've been doing this as a means to try and keep being productive through this horrible down period i'm through XP

day 1: yourself

day 2: body part (hands)

day 3: sport (tennis)

day 4: 87sec sketch

day 5: weapon (mace) GORE i guess

day 6: an old person (my storyteller c haracter)

day 7: a sentiment (no face allowed.) (i'd like you to tell me what you interprete out of this.)

Day 8: an object near you.

These are sick Jo! Keep em coming you got this!
I really like your use of soft and hard edges.

As for my interpretation...ugh. Sure.

The faceless lady feels the icy embrace of time. She knows, more then she wants to, that time is a sinister god,
that it is a greedy player, who wins, every time, without cheating. Time, is wilting all the flowers around her.
She is channeling the dark energy flowing though the universe around her into a condensed ball of negativity.

She will use this ball of negativity, to construct a face for her self.
Are you looking for any critique, or just more into documenting your progress? (which is also fine, ftr!)
My God, Day 5 is NSFW o_o

I really like Day 7.
What I'd interpret from it is that it symbolizes how everything inevitably comes to an end, decays, disappears or falls into oblivion. I think I'm missing something though; I'm not sure what to think of the character holding the black hole thingie close to her heart...
Thanks guys, I'm glad that you like'em!
@fearful that was a pretty unexpected interpretation. I dug it.
@TungermanU, I'm glad I overcame your not-being-a-fan-of-my-art! XD
Really, impressing someone that doesn't like your artstyle means that you've evolved. I feel really accomplished/motivated by hearing this.
@PentagonBuddy I'm not actively looking for technical feedback as right now i'm more interested in exchanging concepts and just expressing myself, but feedback is never a bad thing! I'm all ears! :)
@Avee ........is it???? >_> I'll spoiler tag it >V>
You didn't say anything about her facelessness either. But yeah that was a pretty interesting interpretation. I'd like to emphasize that there is no true interpretation to this pic as most of my art is pretty unconscious.

Anyway, new batch!

Day 9: An animal.

This thing in her eye is a pretty common condition in cats. I used to have a cat like that, I found her on the street and took care of her. Her eye shrunk back to normal size, though evidently she was blind. All animals are beautiful and deserve love regardless of "defects", do take care of them! ;w;)b that includes humans you hypocrite

day 10: food / fruit: banana. Take it as you will.
Fair enough! The only feedback I have is that it comes across as very personal work. I hope it's been helping you out, or at least keeping you busy. that kinda thing is good to have when you're feeling bad.

I love Day 2 very very much. Didn't hit me the first time, but I had an emotional reaction this time I viewed it. Good job again, Jo. :)
Liberty will be overjoyed to see bananas.
Great job Jo!
haha Day 10 made me laugh. These are really good. It's always good to keep busy.
hey it's a banana!!!! HEY LIBERTY! IT'S A MOTHER @#&%$!@*u

for day 10: in my opinion. i just wish, i just really wish.
she was looking at me. also maybe just a tad more blood? like it's pooling into a drop and it's about the fall off the banana. I mean it already is I can see the physics happening on the image right now. but i just wish the physics was happening a bit more.

*just thoughts it doesn't matter

as for day9: I'm glad you gave that cat a nice home :( that looks like one mighty painful infection. yes all animals deserve love! unless your a centipede! then you just like being by your self underground and you would even eat another of your kind if you came across them.
f...funny? omg lol

@PentagonBuddy it definitely is very personal work. It feels kinda weird to make because i'm not doing it "for anything", it won't feed me, it won't materialize in a game or a story but I believe they are a narrative in and on themselves.

@CashmereCat thanks! I love it when I know I manage to strike a chord with people. Hopefully my art will be able to reach moar harts ;w;)b even if this is just a silly 30 day challenge lol

@kylaila yeah i've heard stories of bananas DISAPPEARING ALL OF A SUDDEN LIKE DOZENS OF THEM RITE how and thanks XD

@thank you lol ;v;)b

@fearful l-looking at you? with that face? >_> lol i'm not sure that would be a pleasing sight. Especially not with the blood you suggest, lol. BUT it could be potentially very interesting (and change a lot of things about the picture with this very small change.) I didn't want to overdo it with the blood because I like to keep it subtle. In fact I wasn't even gonna do the blood or the small tears. BUT BLOOD IS GOOD. And yeah she's such a lively and lovely cat. One day she disappeared though. Given her eye, I'm fairly sure someone else took her to take care of her. Well, that's what I tell myself at least.
was an outdoor cat i guess? i'm sorry it disappeared :(
one small change does change a lot XD
I'm astounded. These are beautiful! I particularly love days 1 & 2.
