Wondering if this storm cloud is out of the ordinary, I attempt to peer into it from the camp. Perception roll: 3(-1)
... That's a fail.

Ratty your -1 is in Charisma, not wisdom. You're also proficient in the skill, you just don;t have any points in it, so you have a +2.
But a 5 is still bad.
Leara sees the dark storm-cloud. A blizzard is on the way.

What do you know, sometimes a dark cloud is just a dark cloud. I was right the first time. "We were headed that way anyway, so I suggest we get in the cave." I surmise that the Uruk-Lai is mostly harmless unless legitimately threatened.
(By the way, that comment is also a game command.)

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Into the cave!
I'll follow, curious why we suddenly have a weird frog man and an elf with a gun in our party... I guess I have to ask later...
This seems perfectly fine. Still, I'll take the time for some preparations.
I remember someone asking me to warn them before I summon anything, so I take a few steps back, shout: "Be warned, everyone!", and cast Chaotic Summon. I still don't really understand what the point is of that warning, but I like to try and be polite.
After that, onward into the cave.
My Chaotic Magic roll is a 30.

Why not? I go into the cave with my hostages.
Aldus feels the sudden irresistible desire to be in any empty space within 60 feet of him that he can see and teleports there.
As this happens, a mass of blue tentacles with a singular eye on a stalk forms from where Aldus originally stood.
Afterwards, everyone goes down into the mines and arrives at the original intersection. The south path being where they had gone, the west path being covered in webs, and the north path feeling cold.

"Hmm...I don't have anything particular against spiders, but let's not go that way, anyway." Looks south. "Bats, we can handle easily enough, and we never really got to explore down there, so I say let's resume our exploration to the south."
"Well I can deal with some spiders or ice monsters. What way do you hostages wanna go? D-don't think I'm letting you choose because you're free or anything..."
