PARRALAX BG OR CHIPSET?

I'm currently in the grassroots of my game. I was thinking about what chipset I should use and for some reason I chose Mother 3's graphics.

I managed to get a rip of an inner house but I'm having problems with the walls.

What I'd like is some opinions on whether I should use the diagonal walls as a parralex bg behind the map or should I make chipsets out of them (the walls take up a lot of the space on the chipsets).

I was wondering this because if I use chipsets, I can use them for many maps whereas if I use panos then I'm more restricted. Wouldn't this then make my file size more larger?

Thanks.
What engine are you using? RPG Maker XP doesn't have a limit on how big your chipsets can be. But it's most likely you're using 2K3.
Yeah I was using Rpgmaker 2003. I just chose to do a mixture of panos and chipset. It takes quite a while to make it but it turns out quite good. I just hoping I don't get put off after making 20 odd maps using this method. The chipset solo way is too erroneous and much more time consuming.
