CloseRMN Music Pack 2 is coming! It's time to take the first step and get the making of the album artwork underway! Why is it the first step you say? Well, to inspire all the musicians of course and to start building some hype!
The artwork of the first album carried the spirit and the style of the classic J-RPGs very well, so we should be good by requesting the new artwork from the same artist: Yaichino

What about in front of an evil overlord's dark castle? Or is that too grim? XD
Nah! I can imagine something like that easily. It seems forest has taken the lead though. D:
What sort of forest setting are people imagining?
I love coniferous forests, but they seem to be the most common ones found in the art packs, so you see them everywhere in RPG Maker games outside the RTP. And the dark, creepy forest is a little cliche, so I like the idea of a normal deciduous forest.
I like the idea of a mystical forest/jungle scene, with a lot of dark greens, twisted trunks, drooping vines and ferns and colourful plants and flowers, maybe some glowing ones - or fairyflies~ Like fireflies... maybe they could be following a fairy guide?

Maybe you should wait on this until you have solidified your theme/genre of the next RMN Music Pack?
I basically believe that the cover art should represent what you are getting, and the last one worked particularly well because most of the music was kind of RPG themed, but since you also have that thread on genres and everything, we don't really know what we're doing for this next pack yet.
So those are my thoughts; nothing wrong with waiting. :)

Yeah, if we were to compose just for a single theme and setting! But the idea is still to compose for all kind of rpg settings, just like the last time!
I don't think anything prevents us putting all the varied type of music in one pack!
