I've started growing fond of playing Junkrat, though I am terrible with his ultimate. People fall for the bear trap all the time, though.
Yeah, people have wised up to his ultimate A LOT. It was pretty easy to get plenty of big kills with it in the beta (I was generally getting PotG every single time I'd pick him), but since launch? You need to be much more aware of when and where to use it.
Definitely; the tire seems to work best when you drop in from above because us filthy console scrubs tend to ignore verticality.
I've also decided Lucio is my new favorite; I can regularly score 9k+ healing in a match, and he can doot people off of cliffs. Sorry, Mercy.

I tried her out a bit in the PTR. Her mechanics feel pretty different from others' and it'll be interesting to see how she will affects the matches.
Healing from a location away from the heat of the battle seems like an interesting concept. I also noticed her hip fire seems pretty decent for medium range combat.

Postin this mostly because I think I got ShareFactory on the PS4 figured out.
Our gimmick team of Lucios on the Well stage was doing all right, until the other team decided to counter with Torbjörns. Clearly, this will not do, so into the abyss with you!
Looking forward to trying Ana, whenever she comes to consoles. Also looking forward to D Dot V A's enhancements; I am having a lot of fun playing her and making her even stronger is basically cheating!
(Super late addition) Oh man, we had an amazing gimmick run on Volskaya Defense. There were five of us on voice chat, so we coordinated thusly: we all picked Torbjörn, and basically ignored point A to lull the enemy team into a sense of security/paranoia. Then, we queued up on the floating platforms, and each of us built a single turret on each one, and released them into the wild. If a turret somehow got destroyed, we'd catch the next empty platform and rebuild before the platform could get out into the "open." Needless to say, they made it onto point B for exactly zero seconds.
A very unchill strategy, so, use sparingly.

It is so satisfying when I see this pop up at the end of a match. Ana is a tough hero to get PotG with.

Obviously I am WirtsLeg. Also, Ana has by far become my favourite hero recently. Time to show this by changing my avatar!

Ana POTG + that name = Secret Cow Level????
This seems closer to my (admittedly brief) experience with her:

This deserves a BIG bump since we've gotten a new hero (Sombra), new map (Eichenwalde) and another on the way soon (Oasis). Anyone else still playing often?
There's also the new Antarctica map for the versus modes, if you want to count that.
I think they kind of messed up by splitting the playerbase 6 ways with all these new modes + the new Quick Play, which has turned into a dumping ground for insufferable tryhards. I kind of miss the spontaneity of stumbling into a gimmick match unexpectedly. (Yeah, there's No Limits mode for that, but it's missing a certain something when it's ordained.)

i love antarctica!
i got a DOUBLE legendary box today. a soldier legendary (i already have his halloween Thriller skin but hey, not complaining) and one for sombra. my friend i play with the most plays 800% more sombra than i do but it's still nice to have!
i mostly play DVA, Zarya, Soldier, and Zenyatta.
i have absolutely no issue with the hero limit in quick play, and haven't had any queue issues with the mode splintering. i think it's for the best.

Oh yeah, Eco Point: Antarctica. Forgot about that map for some reason, even though I personally love 3v3.
I just started playing with Mei fairly regularly as of a few days ago, after having ignored her almost entirely since closed beta. I've long hated her just because she's annoying to play against, but I'm having fun with her! Got my first PotG the other night with her, too. It wasn't anything super special, but it still made me feel really good knowing that I was on the right track to using her appropriately.
Mei is indeed bae. Lucio remains my main hero though, with Junkrat starting to lag behind him. Still use lots of Soldier as well. Symmetra, who is arguably my favourite hero in terms of aesthetics and background, has been slipping down my usage chart over the last several weeks because of the inherent issues she's got. Thankfully her rework on the PTR is pretty fun, and I'm excited about using her on live servers again and playing around with her shield wall a bit.

I've started playing Mercy pretty much exclusively again. Zipping around and clutch rezing is such an amazing and uniquely rewarding kind of game play.
Plus, I'll use the "I'll send you my consultation fee" line and sometimes I'll get an "Understood" in response and I'll laugh hysterically. It's the little things.

As for hero limit, I think it might make Quick Play a bit more serious and thus less fun sometimes, but idk if it's going to be a huge difference. I haven't noticed any changes to queue times either, so I think I'll stick to No Limit and occasionally visit Quick Play if I feel like tryharding.
The players in quick play are more or less the same as before they got rid of hero stacking. It's the mode I've always spent 99% of my time in, and it feels mostly the same as before. Only difference is that now you may not be able to lock in the hero you want to play as if someone gets to them first. Plus season 3 of competitive mode has started up, so I think all of the try-hards are back in there again.

I do this with Mei's "Okay!" voice line constantly, because it almost sounds like she's saying it in a sort of pandering, sarcastic way.
Reaper: I'll do this alone if I have to.
Me on Mei: Okay!
Soldier 76: Try not to get yourselves killed out there.
Me on Mei: Okay!
D.Va: I'm going to own all these noobs!
Me on Mei: Okay!
Oh Mei, I love your "Okay!" voice line so much.
Also: Overwatch just nabbed the following awards at the 2016 Game Awards. Best multiplayer game, best esport game, best game direction, and game of the year. Not too shabby!
Unofficial Brawl Tier List (Console scrub edition)
God Tier
Total Mayhem (Fast ults and 2 second skill cooldowns) - I much preferred the original chaos that often devolved into six Meis versus Six Zaryas, but even with the one hero limit, it is still the brawl I covet the most.
This Is Ilios (Lucio and Roadhog only, Ilios map) - At first I thought this was just a joke. It is no joke; it is magic.
High Tier
Charge! (Reinhardt and Lucio only) - Playing the lone Lucio kind of sucks when you can be erased so easily, but it's also the mode that's most likely to lead to unintentional hilarity at the same time.
Super Shimada Brothers (Genji and Hanzo only, fast cooldowns) - Hanzo is kind of a sucker's bet. The Luigi of the matchup, you might say. Slam pick Genji and go nuts.
MOBAWatch (One hero Limit, and you can't change heroes) - Kind of goes against the spirit of the game, granted, but it's how most (bad) people play the game anyway, so it's a worthy challenge.
Mid Tier
Highly Offensive / Overly Defensive / Show Your Support / Tanks A Lot (Limited to picking from a certain type) - These feel like filler. Yawn.
High Noon (McCree only, Route 66 map) - Well, at least these matches tend to go fast.
Justice Rains From Above (Pharah and Mercy only) - Saved from the garbage heap by sheer novelty, but these matches tend to take way, way too long. They can get pretty frantic, though.
Trash Tier
We're All Soldiers Now (Soldier 76 only, low HP, slow skills, slow ult) - Get this COD shit out of here, thanks.
One Shot, One Kill (Snipers only) - See above.

I'm not too big on the non-seasonal brawls, with Total Mayhem being the only one i really enjoy thus far. Mystery Heroes is kind of fun too, and I'm glad that they elevated it to an actual mode in the arcade instead leaving it as a brawl.
The seasonal brawls though? Love them so far. After how much fun I had with Lucio Ball and Dr. Junkenstein's Revenge, I can't wait to see what Blizzard has planned for the Christmas event.

Oh yeah, both of those were super great! I was just thinking of the regular rotation.
I hope the winter one involves an ice rink where you're constantly sliding and have to adjust your momentum. Zenyatta is the referee.
I like the Mystery Heroes mode for forcing me to experiment with neglected characters, but the actual matches seem to devolve into "which team gets a decent composition first?" so I don't like actually playing it.

I won't lie when I say I prefer playing Symmetra and Mercy over your average McCree on PS4. I'm also pretty good with D. Va, though she's got great utility with her shield and I enjoy using things like that. I'm also decent at shooting with Lucio, surprisingly, though I seem to be much better with moving projectiles in general as opposed to hitscan weapons.
Torbjörn is the only character who I'd call OP on console, because most console players just cannot deal with that turret, even after nerfs. That thing needs about 1/3 the range, a conical line of sight based on how it's placed, and a more-delayed lock-on time, rather than just constantly nerfing the damage as a zero-effort solution that Blizzard's been doing so far. That's just my unprofessional opinion, though.
