GREETINGS RMN!

For years I have debated on whether or not I wanted to step through the door of making video games, and I would attempt it, then stop, then attempt again, then stop again.
But about a couple of months ago, I got tired of procrastinating, so I purchased a copy of RM2K3, and within a week (last Saturday actually), taught myself how to create my own walking game sprites and sprite sheets through simple observation and trial and error.
But I am far from complete. There is still so much more for me to learn. And though I might have figured out a couple of things on my own, there might be others who don't understand, so why not share the wealth?
And that is why I have finally found myself in a place where I honestly should have been many years earlier, but I was just in denial of who I really am.
But I digress. I am Mapachatumbili (Swahili for "GeminiMonkey"), and I find it a pleasure to be here!

Yeah, I wanted something refreshing that almost nobody would think of, and using the Swahili language (I know a couple of words) seemed like the way to go.
I only hope that I can continue to be as creative as my username. No pressure!

Hi! Glad to meet you. On the subject of the user name, it's certainly not one people will be able to remember accurately in the first few tries.
I would go as far to predict that most would just call you "mapa" for short (and simplicity), but who knows?
Anywho, welcome to RMN! Share your creativity with us!

Oh crud, Marrend was already here.
Maybe 'Pacha' would work (for shortening and stuff)?

Yup, I think we should call you Pacha, that sounds good, right?
Lemme redo my bit then, "Welcome to RMN Pacha, I hope you'll have a fun time here! :D"

So much for my prediction! Kinda glad I didn't bring out a Masako-table-post, though!
