HELLO THERE, EVERYONE!

Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone! I'm pretty new to RPG Maker in general, but I've been a programmer for about 4 years now and know Java pretty well, and Ruby moderately well. I'm currently pursuing a degree in Computer Security, but making games, especially games like those possible in RPG Maker, has always been an aspiration of mine. I just purchased RPG Maker VX Ace and I'm honestly super excited to get started and hopefully get something in the works. Going to look around a little more for inspiration, but I hope to keep you guys updated as I go along with my process! :)
