ClosePossibly one of the worst RPG series I've ever encountered, I've suffered through all three titles on the PS3 in this brand and my lord they are bad. Has anyone else encountered the 'joys' of them on console or their mobile ports?
Thank you for saying so - I almost picked up one for the PS3 I saw used but I bought Black Flag and Darksider II instead.
I actually got them for an amazing price - 8 dollars (!!!) for black flag, and 10 for Darksiders II. (Canadian)

iirc just about anything from Idea Factory is terrible garbage.

Wow, now I feel justified for passing up Idea Factory games all those million times I almost bought one.

Agarest 1 is horrible, but it's still the best Idea Factory game imo. I imagine it might actually be real fun with an unlimited gold cheat.

The prelude sequel is by far the worst - half the content of 1 but no original assets or systems - it's painful. The annoyance is that the generational concept has been a good idea since Phantasy Star III did it but nobody seems to get it into a game that's FUN to play. Has anyone found any examples of it in truly good RPGs?
