[RMVX ACE] [RMXP] [RMMV] [GM] TERRAIN TAGS IN THESE MAKERS?

I'm curious if Terrain Tags like the ones I've come to know in RMXP, exist in RpgMaker VX Ace, RPGMaker MV, and Game Maker?

I had an idea partly inspired by Zelda BotW that would require terrain tag like functions.
There's regions in MV and Ace, if that's what you mean? They're better than Terrain tags as you can choose any tile to be set to a number of your choice and then create events that deal with that number. Here's a quick example:



Basically, this is a simple boulder-push puzzle. You see the three coloured spots on the map? Numbers 1, 2 and 3. When specific boulders are pushed on those spots, they turn a switch on and when all switches are on, the puzzle ends.

You can also make it so that if the hero is on region number 77 they jump forward two spots, but if on number 33 they jump forward 5. Simple but powerful and there's a lot more of them than there are terrain IDs. You can use more than one at a time on a map and even assign encounters to them - so say you have a rare battle that occurs only near the water, you can paint the area around water with number 12 and other areas with 13. Then you can assign different encounters to each, with different chances of being encountered. >.<)b

That said, yes, terrain IDs are still a thing and still work as they did in 2k/3/XP. ;3

Might as well add another question, does MV have a HUD script yet? Since its still new I figured it might not. But All I'd need is a basic life and magic display.
