this setup was very bad and a big argument for letting someone else look over your setup, something no one wants to let people do for some reason. this was also the very opposite of a vanilla game. 48 hours is too short for a d1 deadline. typically 72 hours makes sense to start with.

I was so happy when Gourd hammered Hex. If Hex would've escaped that lynch, he would've been one lucky bastard!
I knew that he couldn't escape anymore, but if he still would've gotten away, that would've been a miracle.
Yeah, if Hex hadn't scum claimed, he might have talked his way out of it. When IF made his declaration, YM might have counterclaimed being the orb holder, but maybe it was smarter not to.
Scum claiming, though, is un-retractable. No way Hex was getting out of it at that point.

Funnily enough I could've messed up on both power ups. With the orb I thought about targeting one of the "non-cleared" people but just felt off about Hex from the beginning and at best I wanted to clear him so I could shake the feeling. same with the bomb kinda, it was between gourd and YM and as much as I want gourd to be mafia at some point I'm always wrong about him lol
plus he said if we bomb him and lynch YM then he wouldn't mind so that sold it for me to bomb YM and if I was wrong we could have just lynched him the next day anwyays.
also to note I think the power ups made it easy for town but I dont think it was a bad game. it was pretty short and sweet without a bunch of bull

town has been killing it though recently considering it was like nothing but scum wins as far as I had been playing
the powerups made the outcome of the game a foregone conclusion. lynch wrong d1? doesn't matter just vig the other guy. mafia can't kill the cop because there are infinite cops. it was really hard to care about anything that happened because of this since we could do anything and win.
also dice rolling (removing correlation between player decisions and outcome) is bad. even without the bomb i had a cop power on the last night. it was ludicrous.

Yeah I didn't bother running the numbers but I think this was moderately town-weighted because it was impossible for scum to kill the power roles. A little random but it was still fun and straightforward even if I was a little out of it on day 1. Thanks for running, Cap.

Yeah, I would put more thoughts in the setup and probably ask you (but all vanilla game is too boring to run, that was my reason to add items at least), if I wasn't so busy on the day. It was a mistake not to wait one more day and sort some stuff out (like correct the OP and maybe shuffle powers a little, maybe something like scum having one of them every day. That would make it much more balanced).
I learned a lot from this and I'm sure that all my future setups will be perfectly balanced and fun to play for everyone, even the day-1-lynch.
Also I thought that the scum is totally scummy on day 1. Information really changes everything. And congrats IF, you were on spot most of the time.
that sounded harsh but im really tired of this happening!! even gourd's game had that omniscient daytime lie detector thing. i want to look over the setup of whoever runs a game next..

This was a really fun game, Hex and Odd you did great, YM, you too, I was rooting for you in Dead chat, you guys got far but died.
Also congrats Town, IF did great too, two great item uses and LockeZ killing scum N1 is impressive though I totes wanna see more Scumodd! :D
