I really don't see them giving up one of their team members day 1 just to protect themselves. I only really see that after his death became a foregone conclusion, or like master level play on some level.
And it's just just who did and didn't vote - the people who ended up dying kinda eliminated themselves out of the equation. I was going to try and poke Piano, Cave was going after Infection - we hadn't heard much outta Frogge.
I agree it would be incredibly evil and cruel for Cave to have been this epic mastermind, I guess I don't see it. I haven't played games with him, though.

When CAVE put up his argument, you and LockeZ were around and neutral. YM and Hex jump on the vote in there next posts. It's not so much a timing argument as much as those two votes (and piano's I guess) started a lynch, the vote (and nonvote) from you and LockeZ finished it.

Oh, of those few, I'd probably pick cave. He's the only person who ended up changing his vote at any point. (this goes for piano too, but uh, not applicable!)

@Hex while I don't put it past Cave to pull the crazybus or whatever, I think it's waaay less likely than scum just being Gourd/LockeZ. Cave knows by this point that no matter how innocent his votes make him look he's still susceptible to being randomly killed.

That was a joke.
i switched to frogge in hopes that my feelings for what he was doing would become clear and he would start playing the game. instead he did exactly the opposite and stopped playing forever. i never posted a case for him because he wasn't really a better option.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Cave's first vote against OddRABBIT wasn't "throwing anyone under the bus." It wasn't even a particularly serious vote. It was mostly just for forgetting that Cavedog complained about powers in the previous game. That sort of vote during the second page of day one is unlikely to be taken seriously, so it wasn't dangerous, but still makes Cave look good if OddRABBIT actually gets lynched later.
I'm not even a little bit convinced he's town. I am somewhat more convinced that Yellow Magic and Hexatona are probably town, since they added their votes in early, changing it from one vote into a bandwagon. That's more telling to me than the first vote, since a bandwagon on day one is something that people like to jump onto.
I also still think Psy is town because of his power reveal. It's not the sort of power a scum player would make up, since it doesn't really provide any incentive not to lynch him.
So I think the remaining scum are probably Cavedog and/or Gourd. There might just be one scum left, in which case my gut is saying to go with Cavedog.

Also, this is fine, and something I could see you doing, but compared to the other options you are the only person who sticks out in my mind for that reason. Still think LockeZ is a better candidate though.
Well, I guess YM not buying psy's claim is kinda weird too, because it's really not a move that would help scum. Like, at all. (psy's claiming that is)

I won't lie and say I haven't been rethinking my Cavedog appraisal - I would just really prefer that was not the case.
