DANGANRONPA 3 FORBIDDEN ACTION MAFIA! [GAME OVER]

Posts

Ah I getcha. I thought it was someone who is pretending to be town/mafia and then screwing over everyone including their allies haha.
Well, I mean, that's pretty damn scummy, true but in the game basically just is used to refer to mafia team as a whole.

Hello. Thankfully, it wasn't a freaking flood that I had to read to get caught up. So...we can reveal our forbidden actions. Got it. What I don't get is whether or not we have to, because Frogge did specifically say we would have to. Then he said we should watch while nobody believed us. So, if we have to reveal them, why would nobody believe us, unless we didn't actually have to reveal them? Or do we only have to reveal them through PM and on the thread is optional?

Yeah, that's a pretty scummy thing to do whether you're town or mafia.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Why would you think we have to reveal them, that goes against everything he's said
We could just reveal them, they're handicaps not powers. Only reason I could see not to would be if someone's forbidden action is "voting" or something dumb that would lead scum not to hit them.

Right, since I'm town, I can easily reveal my forbidden action.

Mine is changing my lunch vote. For this reason, I'll probably avoid voting in general, as once I have, then, well... it could be a problem. To prove this, I'll have Frogge send the PMs of information, which is always valid.

Quick mention that the showing forbidden actions rule has changed to make things more interesting. Now you'll have to tell people your forbidden action, and there is no real way to confirm. You can still ask me to tell someone what it is, and that WILL be legit, but otherwise, you can lie about your forbidden action without being pressured into confirming it by other players :)

This might have been what led me to believe that.
@odd that's no reason not to vote at all. Just make sure to not submit your vote until the last possible moment.

Eh, I'll probably refrain from voting, anyways.

Wait. I broke tradition. I was supposed to say how useless I am in my first post of the game.

Oops.
Mine is pretty much easy to realise why it was given to me - must vote on a lynch for day 1 and someone must be lynched day 1.

Yay?

Odd, that's a much easier power to manage than mine. Might as well get this out of the way, as our forbidden actions are important information...

My action is that I can't lynch the same person as gourd. I don't know the specifics, but I am going on the assumption that if I lynch first, and then he lynches the same person after, that would could as lynching the same person. It's quite the annoying limitation as it won't let us hammer as easily.
Wow, my forbidden action is kinda complicated too so I'm not sure how to reveal it yet. But Libby lol I hope you can survive day 1. That's pretty brutal.

In context I thought it was pretty obvious that he meant "Now, in order to reveal your forbidden action, you'll have to simply tell people what it is, and there is no real way to confirm."

The original rule that Frogge was changing was something like "If you want to reveal your forbidden action, you can ask me to officially confirm it either in the thread or in a private message." The change he made in the post that you quoted is that he'd no longer do so in the thread, only in PMs. (Then in his next post he changed his mind again and said he wouldn't do it in PMs either.)

Well, I suppose that's a reasonable interpretation. I'm just hardwired to take "have to" as a definitive statement.

Well, since everyone's telling theirs, why should it matter to me? My forbidden action goes against my playstyle, so I might as well say it: I can't say that I don't mind being lynched and that I can't ignore lynch (on me).

Wait, he said that?

Oh, welp.
Yeah they look specificallydesigned to be against our specific playstyles. I can't defend anybody in the last 5 hours.
From the sounds of it I got off pretty easy then. While I still protest the use of first-day lynching, I do sometimes go with it so in this case it's no skin off my nose. Some of the others sound like an annoyance and a half.

It's like I'm back in Propositional Logic class because I can't make sense of all the negatives aaaah
