I picked this up yesterday and played it for about 12 hours straight. It's even better than the first Prime game and lightyears better than Prime 2.

Has anyone else picked this up and wants to swap codes for green achievements?

EDIT: To add more excitement to this post, I love this game. The controls are totally amazing as are the graphics. Sure, they don't have the heartless normal mapping and shit you see in some other games, but man. Retro sure knows how to design sci-fi stuff. The whole game is moody and immersive and the music! The music is absolutely stellar.

It also confirms a lot of things about the chozo, for those Metroid lore fans out there.

Here's an awesome image of the game.
I'm planning to pick it up as soon as I've paid my tuition for this semester. I have heard it said that MP3 is presently the best reason to own a Wii....even better than Twilight Princess.

It's far far far better than TP.
Playing it through on Hyper Mode now.

By far one of the best games out there. I liked MP1, never beat MP2 though, just got boring.

MP3 though, kept me interested the whole way through.

I just beat it on Veteran today. Gonna go back in and get 100% items and then move onto Hyper Mode.

I probaly should of done that too lol.

I made the jump to Hyper because I found quite a few of the bosses were almost ridiculously (Omega Ridley for example, don't even think I got hit) easy.

Just passed Rundas though on Hyper, he was a toughie.
I'm a little skeptical about Metroid Prime 3. I'm hearing great things, but the original Metroid Prime never 'hit the spot' for me. (I would argue that it's the third best Metroid game, though. Super and Zero Mission are my favorites.) Haven't bothered with the sequal.

However, a lot of people with a similar opinion as me are saying that Prime 3 is glorious. I wonder if it's hyperbole from having a fancy new toy, but I do expect that Prime 3 will be the best thing available on Wii for a long while, at the very least until Christmas.
Well this game wont be out here in Australia for a while but it actually looks somewhat decent...for a wii game.
