In this resource creation event, we took monster design drawings from my 7 year old son and made battle monster characters out of them. There were 8 monsters in total. I am going to showcase them one by one for us to weigh in on who is best in class for each monster! Next up is the bonus entry #1 a'Afte.

Out of all of these, I think Bart's looks best as an enemy sprite, so my vote goes to him.
I'm also in a Metroid phase right now, so flying bug monsters are something I'm a bit partial to right now.
Plus, he's my bro, so y'know.
Bart and I actually had the idea to maybe start working on a metroidvania in the somewhat near future, and I definitely want this sprite in there. It's not a metroidvania unless you have flying bugs charging at you from all directions.
