CloseI don't know were else I should post this on the forum :P Welp, I guess since it's related to RPG Maker, but not games, I should be alright.
The idea is that I would use RPG Maker to make sprite animations. How? Well, I figured I would just... I dunno, make a new document, use the event system to make scenes, and stuff like that. Basically, I'm making sprite animations reminiscent of the early Final Fantasy games. I plan to make my own sprites for fully original series, but I'm also thinking of doing the usual video game parodies as well.
I know that sprite animations are already well-known and well-loved genre on Youtube(Or at least was, I'm not aware of it's state currently), but to my knowledge, most of them are Super Smash Bros-esque crossovers in which two characters fight to the death. I want to stand out and do actually series that don't focus only on fighting.
Just wondering, is this whole idea something that you might like? Thanks :P

Do you like the idea? Would you enjoy it and find it satisfying? If so, go for it!
It's a solid idea, I like many non-fight things. I definitely would find it fun if it resonates with me. Who knows if that is the case, though, haha. But I feel that way about any other animation out there, naturally. As will many others.
Go do your thing and spread the word, enjoy doing it, and you'll find people who'll like it.

As the Magical Dragon said do you enjoy it? If you do not enjoy it then it may not be the thing to do. Honestly, I am the kind person that could spend and hour watching someone create a sprite (I actually did watch a video by Echo607 that was and hour long of her just creating a sprite)

In case you didn't realise, Sooz is usually less than serious.
Do what you want to do. If you're having fun then that's cool. Also, if there's nothing out there like it and you're worried that people might not like it, still do it. You might create the next big thing. Or not - but you'll probably get a few hits if you spread the videos on social media with the right tags.

Seriously, people make money posting the most idiotic videos imaginable. I think if you should be concerned about anything, it's that you actually have an intelligent idea that isn't idiotic. People might actually pass on it because it isn't dumb.
