[MAFIA] - SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI {GAME OVER}
Posts
It was a shock to all, after Cyrus the Great captured Babylon. Not so much a shock that he had done it, no, for all knew of the conqueror's great prowess. It was not even surprising that he had taken the city without bloodshed. All knew that life under Persian rule was not so bad; you were kept safe, could speak your own language, believe in your own gods. For most, life barely changed at all.
It was just this reputation that had left the people of the land thunderstruck at the city's fate. Cyrus' arrival was peaceful, but the peace was broken the following night. The statues of their deities were shattered. The great Tower, built too high, reaching towards a road that no human was allowed to walk, was smashed to the ground. The defeated saw the flames of burning buildings reflected in the sea of blood that was once the streets of Babylon.
"There sits the fate of those who would go against the Lord of lords, the King of kings. All of his adversaries have been found and devoured. All who pass by this fallen nation will gaze in wonder at his vengeance."
The few who had heard Cyrus utter these words did not quite understand them, and he would never elaborate. It was almost as if they had not originated in him, but floated through him, from somewhere far away. But, from that day on, Cyrus slept peacefully, his head free of pain, the winged shadow in his quarters absent forevermore.
King Nabonidas and his court were, of course, not spared the fate of their city. There was only one slight oddity: The Persian soldiers responsible for assassinating him gave strange accounts. Though it was dark, they all swore that theer was someone else in the room when they arrived: A man wearing a cloak wrapped in darkness, his only distinguishable features his bright eyes, smiling face, and the torch he carried. Though they were initially shocked, the man vanished in the blink of an eye, and the soldiers assumed that it had been merely a trick of the moonlight. It was not until they conferred later that they realized that they had all seen the same thing. It was agreed upon that it would be best to not mention it, and in time, the strange vision was forgotten entirely.

Kloe, who was Pyro Jack, Humility-aligned Regulation Cop, Pro-Lucifer/Chaos, was executed Day Two.
Regulation Cop: At night, target one player each night to block their action. You lose this power for one night if the blocked-player's action was directed towards a Humility-Aligned player.
Get your actions in within 24 hours. Thread stays open at night.
double edit: pls dont ask me how an irish demon is present at babylon. the demon war transcends time and space. time is convoluted. dakr soul
It definitely confirms that Humility is in alligience with chaos, though, that statement is likely useless, as we pretty much already knew what, with Frogge's posts.
@Liberty: he wins with chaos, at least. Apparently he's supplied us true information, for now, which may not have been his best play seeing as how he's not more likely to lose.
@Odd: It does mean we can trust Frogge's info up to this point though.

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Yeah. Most importantly, that means that Hikitsune and Zeuzio are both confirmed town. Frogge said on day one that Hikitsune was not part of chaos, humility or neutral. And someone else used their power to show (via an official message from Cavedog) that Hikitsune and Zeuzio were in the same faction.
It seems odd, though, that Chaos wouldn't know who Chaos is. That's always been how scum's disadvantage was balanced out. They know who they are. It really seems unfair if they could just inadvertently throw each other under a bus like this, which is why I'm going to suggest that Frogge may be unaligned neutral.
Ugh, confusing. We need new words for this. There's a Chaos Party and they're 'allies' of the other two 'parties', is how I'm reading it. Maybe the other two 'parties' don't know who is in the Chaos party?

Yeah, the format of this game seems very heavily pro-town, but I bet there are a bunch of scum to make up for it.
The more I think of it, the more I think that Frogge is indeed Chaos aligned and that he's one of those that Cave warned wouldn't know his alignment. Lynching him is probably going to be a good idea, but before we just auto-lynch him, I want to take a closer look at this Liberty/Yellow Magic dynamic. I'll save that for the regular day phase, though.
Frogge, does your PM mention any kind of alignment? Try investigating Libby and see what you come up with. Let's put some context on YM's enigmatic claim.
That's fine with me, just keep in mind that we know Frogge's 'party' is allied with Chaos so we can't take everything he says as 100% fact. For all we know, there might be a reason he outed Kloe like he did - it might have been accidental, or it could have been deliberate. We don't know. But yeah, do that Frogge. Whatever answers you get should be illuminating in some way at least.
Right but every piece of information we get will be helpful, especially with YM doing the creepy wiseguy routine. I want to see what comes back. I'm investigating YM (though I'm not sure how knowing when his power's essential is going to be very helpful). Maybe if we get enough investigations, this stuff will come together, and investigating you was my night 0 action.
Yep, still not getting it. In fact, this thread isn't updating for me at all. It's the only one. The stats thread is updating just fine.
