MARIO 3D WORLD CAMERA PROBLEMS

Does anyone actually like Mario 3D World more than classic 2D Marios like Super Mario World or full 3D Marios like Mario 64?
I understand the philosophy behind merging the two Mario styles but I don't like it.
Originally I thought I hated it because I was playing co-op with my brother and he kept demanding that I play the way he wanted me to play.
But I recently played it on my own and I still don't like it.
I think it's the camera perspective and controls due to the perspective. A few times it even goes isometric which only works for slow games like strategy games like FF Tactics.

Yes. It is amazing! I loved that game. The way some levels play with the camera are quite clever, too (like the "2D" view, or the locked isometric). The game is a blast!
Part of the reason I like it is because I enjoyed Super Mario 64 and Sunshine, and after three or four nearly-identical iterations of "New" Super Mario Bros. (3DS, Wii, WiiU, Luigi Edition, and maybe there was a DS one?) it was a welcome change. Granted, I never played either of the Super Mario Galaxies, but still.
