MINOR CHARACTER SET-UP HELP

Seems as though I've ran into a predicament.
I'm using Role Playing Game maker 2000
I need help with a few things.
I'm having 12 charcters in my latest game.
One character, I've decided, shall be a bard.
Thus leading to my question= Does Laura sound like a Bards name?
And I have another question.
I need a Custom menu System so you can switch the characters in your party on the fly.
If i don't need a CMS for this, tell me what to do please.
The CMS I am looking for is sort of like it was in FF7, but I'd like one similar to FF10 better.

Thank you guys!
I really needed those!
And I also want to thank all of you that pushed me into 'upgrading' my typing skills.
They are far from perfect, but they are better from when I first joined, correct?

No offense to you Jakester, but that wasnt really what i was looking for.
I severely need a party switching system that is like in FFVII and FFX

No offense to you, but that is probably the best you are going to do.
A visual party-switching system in rm2k is not the easiest thing to make and you would need to have some graphical and technical skills to accomplish it.

I don't really need it to be graphical, and not in battle switching.
Just like a menu to change your party.

Aw, my tutorial phails! >_<;
Yeah, thanks for pointing that it needs some cleaning up to do, but I have gotten rid of 2k&2k3 from my computer so I can't be all of that help.
To answer you question in the mail:
Alternative, you can do what some(or most?) RPGs have. Just map out a meeting place where the characters stay. Some examples of this would be Onyx & Onyx 2.

To answer you question in the mail:
=Condition: V00# Party Size = 4
===(Put message here) The party is full!
==Else Case
=End
