[RM2K3] MUSIC ONLY PLAYS ONCE THEN STOPS, HAVE TO RESTART GAME

I'm not developing a game, I'm just playing them.
When I play games in rpgmaker 2003, the BGM music will only play once, then it'll stop. Sound effects will work just fine though. For example, I enter an area and the BGM music plays, I enter a battle and the battle music plays, then the battle is over and the BGM music for the area won't play again. The BGM music for the battle won't play again either. Sound effect sounds will still work, though.
The only way to get the music to work again is to restart the game.
I've seen other people with this problem, but haven't found any solutions. Anyone have ideas on how to fix it? Thank you!

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I've never heard of this in my life, but the standard solution for stuff not working when you're trying to play RPG Maker 2003 games is to install them to your desktop or your Documents folder instead of Program Files, and then right-click on them and Run As Administrator.
If that doesn't work, try installing the K-Lite Audio Codec Pack, the largest collection of audio codecs on the web. An audio codec is basically a piece of information that tells your computer how to properly play a type of audio file; without the right codec, files will not play or will play incorrectly. Most computers come with basic codecs installed, so most people never have to download this unless they're composers or DJs. But there might be something wrong with yours (for example, your computer manufacturer might have added their own special codecs for basic MP3 files in place of the normal ones, and those special codecs might be garbage). https://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm You should be fine with the "Basic" download.
Another possibility is that you might have a bad sound card driver. But sound card drivers don't really get updates or anything most of the time, so I'm not actually sure there's gonna be a solution if that's the problem. If neither of the above solutions work, you can try reinstalling your audio driver. Can't hurt, anyway. Worst thing that happens is you get a message saying already have the most up-to-date driver. If you post your computer model here (for example, Dell Inspiron 3650 or HP Elitebook 2450p) I can help you find the official page to download drivers for it.

author=peanutbubbercupsHmm, it might be the developer's fault on this, reasons why are: 1. They did not assign a BGM to the map they created. 2. Was there a command that stopped the music? Or is this for all games you play?

That's definitely not something a developer did wrong with the game. They could potentially make the background music in areas have that problem if they set it up incorrectly, but a developer couldn't cause that problem with the background music no matter how hard they try.
