How do I change my Arrow Keys to WASD? Topic

I'm making a new game with RM2K3 and I need to know how I change my movement keys, AKA the Arrow Keys to WASD, so I can move around with them instead! The reason why is because my character when I playtest my game, it will keep moving upward without me touching any of the keys. If one of these problems can be solved, I will be grateful and put their username in my game, (well. When I release it that is..) Thank you!

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

You can't change the input keys, so let's focus on the other problem. Does this happen if you create a brand new project? If so, your keyboard might actually be broken.

This is a common rm2k3 bug. Do you have a controller plugged in? That's normally the cause. Unplug it and restart rm2k3. If that doesn't work, restart your computer. One of those two usually take care of it.

I encounter a similar issue with VX Ace games all the time. In that case, however, it tends to be related to me pressing two directional keys down at the same time, and pressing keys enough usually gets things "unlocked" (or at the very least, locked in a new direction). Not sure if that's useful information or not, since based upon BadLuck's comment it sounds like the rm2k3 issue may be caused by something different. But I figured I mention it, just in case.
