Restore Deleted Game? Topic

I know this is going to be a long shot but does the website have backup servers that have games that were deleted in the past on them? I deleted the current state of my project from RMN and my pc crashed (no I did not back-up, I know shame on me).

It would be great if somebody could do this, but I am not expecting it lol, had to ask.

The one thought I have is to ask in this thread to see if anybody has a copy of said game. Failing that, maybe use the Wayback Machine?

Additionally, try to restore your hard drive. It's possible that while it may be corrupt, there's still data recoverable from it. I've recovered a lot of data from a broken 5TB Seagate drive before, it might work for you.

Asking on your game page might help too - one of your subscribers might have downloaded it before you took it down.

A program I have used in the past that as far as I know is free and doesn't have a bunch bloatware with it is Recuva. Pretty decent file recovery, lets you dig around in your hard drive as if nothing were ever deleted.

Though, you say your PC crashed, do you know exactly what went wrong? It might not be a hard drive issue, and at that, you'd just have to plug your hard drive into a new computer or get a enclosure that lets you plug it in via USB and you'd be all set without any additional software.
