I just created a portrait pack with quite a few different modular parts (in the PSDs) plus 12 different premade characters (from 5 different bases) check them out!
They span adults, kids and the elderly, all with 5 different expressions, perfect to flesh out the character of these NPCs that normally only spew one ominous line about the demon lord while smiling eerily.
Formatted for RMMV and RMVXA use. Higher resolution, 256x256 versions available as well. I'm working on converting to 2k/2k3 (which takes a long while) and updates may come in the future, depending on how much it sells, adding new premade variants, new hair parts and expressions and acessories such as hats and earrings etc.

I haven't sold any copies yet though. Probably due to poor advertising. But t'was a good test, I wanted to know if I could get by my own without relying on publishers because waiting for literal years to release a single pack is like, really tiring. XD

I got it listed, but I need to buy some other stuff first. Plus I don't have any special need for them right now.

My duty as an artist is to provide the community with materials that they do need, so~
I'm selling this pack more to learn about how selling works, where to sell, how storefronts will behave etc (not that I dont need money LMAO)

Portraits are a hard sell on their own by my reckoning. You usually need tiles, sprites, enemies, animations. Icons are fairly popular too.
Another problem I can see, is that they're fairly generic people. It would probably attract more potential customers if there were some crazy hats and facial accessories such as piercings and tattoos. Pricing is ok and fits well among other resources on itch.

I'm a bit torn. I mean, you're a cool artist, I respect your work, and I happen to need at least 108 faces for the project I'm working on. Maybe more. However, I also know of a flash-based face generator, that costs nothing to use, and seems to have more options?
