I have decided to CommitTo an rpg Collab, I'm thinking of giving it a sifi(space and other planets, if we do anything like that)and/or Medieval (The main Planet) Theme.
I do have a few open spots for people to come and help!
There are these available jobs for the project:
Map Maker.
Story writer.
Plot twister (works with story writer).
Sprite Cropper (Works with spriter, aka Me).
Tell me in the comments if I missed something, and if you'd like that
as I will gladly give you that job.
And for the Jobs provided, Comment what you'd like to be!
Thank you fro spending your sweet time on reading this, if your interested, please comment your steam name and the role you'd like to join
NOTE; No money will be given out for this project
Also, I have a bit of experience with rm2k3, so I'm not decent, but not noobish
Too busy with other stuff. However, you have my permission to use or adapt any of the code you find in my games you find interesting.

The information about the game proper is pretty vague. Like, the only thing I'm gleaning is that you could either go sci-fi or fantasy, but no details about what the game would look like if you went with one idea, or another. It's mostly a list of positions you'd like filled. I'm glad you're straightforward about there being no compensation for assisting, though.

If there is one question that comes to mind, it's how many games have you've made/completed before this?

*Edit: Please look at the Job Board rules. There's a few requirements under the section for requesting others to help with your project that are not being met, and a maybe-helpful piece of advise too.

Oh I am terribly sorry, I probably just glanced,I don't have any screenshots because it is made from scratch
and I have like no money,
Then for the games, I am working deep on a 1-man project based off of a server's "backstory" and I'm about 3/4 of the way into

Please do not post twice in succession in a given thread unless it's been over 24 hours since your last post. Thanks!

To make this post more relevant to the discussion, one of the skills people will be looking for in a project lead (yes, that's you), is the ability to see a project through, despite what shortfalls may come your way. That's why you're being asked if you've made a game before.

Also, it's not just about what others can offer you. It's what you can offer others. Show a little something of what you've done as an indication of what you're capable of!
Whatever sort of story you're doing, I think you pretty much never want two different people doing the lead story writing and coming up with plot twists. The twists should be a natural consequence of the story elements which the writer is aware of and the audience isn't. Having two different people write the main storyline and plot twists would be like having two people create a riddle together by having one write the question, while the other decides what the answer will be.
