I'm working on my game currently and I think I've encountered a bug. I have an airship transporter system I've implimented and when I deleted an event that was engaging no matter what I did it's still going off. My question is this a memory issue with the software itself or something else. For all those who might ask I've tried everything from switches/variables/erase event on this paralell process with conditions however it is still going off. I'm stuck on how to try and resolve this.
From the sounds of it there's another event setting it off. Sure you didn't make a copy of the event or make a common event?
Make sure you haven't accidentally added a recursive event (an event that calls itself, or loops back to another part of the same event).

I recently encountered a similar error and it turned out I was calling an event with a similar name to the one that I wanted, which caused all sorts of errors.

If you are calling another event (like Lib said, maybe a backup copy?) then you'd encounter this error. Also check any other PPs or Autostarts you might have that could be calling a similar event (check your common events to make sure you aren't triggering one of them calling an event, too).
I actually just deleted the event and after a few tries of remaking it got it to work how I wanted it too. My guess is that it bugged and so it just needed to be deleted/redone.
