Having no project in the works and waiting for inspiration to hit for a game, I've looked around RMN's gamelist to get a good idea of what's out there, and observe the trends.

I've written a couple of reviews already, and several people have had the opportunity to have one-on-one honest criticism from me. I call it like I see it, from the point of view of an old school gamer. Just so I am not reviewing things at random, as I did with Suteki, a game I chose at random, I am offering to review your game! You as in, the game-maker that wants to hear feedback in order to work out the kinks and potentially improve on your project.

I am going to review in a number of different ways; I will do audio reviews, I will try video reviewing at some point, I am happy to sit with you and discuss your game with you, and as usual, I provide my own screenshot perspectives too!

Stop on by, I love games! Even the worst game needs players, and the best ones need an audience to delve into them and acknowledge their greatness!

Show me a game, and i'll show you a willing player! I'll cut the list off at whatever point I feel like I have enough on my plate, of course!

I would just love to have you beat at the difficulty of Solar Tear.

I am pretty much updating it as we speak, but motivation never hurt a soul.
Alright! Looks like we have our first customer!

Solar Tear it is, then!

can't make a bad game if you don't finish any games

Do you like gun control? Me neither!

There isn't any in 1873!
Okie dokie Chaos, you're on the list!
This sounds cool ... I'll most definitely want you to review my Halloween game
Right off the vat, Mr. Nemo, good presentation, interesting mood setting, potentially interesting characters. I stopped playing at the point where Rebecca enters her house
and goes into a flashback. The reason I stopped was... the flashback is taking forever to load. I don't know if it's my computer doing this or whether you intended the flashback to take FOREVER to fade in and start, but I have a problem with waiting 20 minutes or so for a fade in to complete itself. The plot obviously hasn't come together yet, but I'm interested. The bullies were fun, too. The music isn't particularly grasping me yet, however.

I will go into more detail as I get to play more of the game, of course.

Put Pokemon Hunter on that list, mister! I mean, pretty please? :)

And, yes, the first one. Not the 4th, that one's not ready yet.

That's odd. My computer is veeery slow and I think it goes pretty fast. The fade is supposed to be equal to the ones at the intro, so it's odd.

I'm going to give you a pro-tip before you get into any serious battles; avoid fighting whenever possible (and try finding secret items, which, by the way, are next to impossible). You can defeat the Robot-boss at level two without any secrets.

Also, watch out for bugs :(

Yeah, check my screenshot in my sig. That's where it's slowing down for me.
I had no problem with the REST of the game thus far, it's just that scene.
I reloaded it 3 times and it's still extremely slow. Dunno what to tell you there!

hey hey i'm still waiting for that screenshot
You might as well put my game "Extraneous" on the list. Because I will ask you to review it when its done :D

You wanted me to make joke screenshots for Mindflare?

Why not play Dragon Kingdoms V
http://www.rpgmaker.net/games/266/

Mini-maps on almost every screen. I don't know why more RPGs don't do this.

I want people to look at the screen, not at the mini map. Also, it would be exceedingly annoying to make one for every single map in the game.

Besides; if the level design is good enough; you shouldnt need a mini map for navigation.

I played the game myself up to this point a few times just now and tried it out, but it fades exactly the same as the intro. So I have no clue as to what it could be.
I would be highly unfair for me to ask you to check out Odysessy, dear, though I would enjoy to hear what improvements I can make, especially since I'm all ready working on part 2.

Just so the public knows, our gaming projects are seperate! I take full credit (unless it's in the credits for materials, of course) for my entire game's programming. <3

This thread is SO you, by the way.
Ok, AznChipmunk, here's two screenshots that pretty much have my view.

What I realized was that you'd opted only to make ROADS transitional, and not all logical walkable spaces. (a little lazy, if you ask me, but it's your game, of course)
