Hay party people, is there a way to set up a map with like a pool of water that the player can drain and refill, and have an animation of the the process?

I'm aiming for something like this video (should start at about 10 minutes in).

Well, that was definitely four frames. Use two charsets. The first charset is the drain/fill set. Have each direction be the appropriate water level. The second charset is the full charset. Place them over an empty pool tile. Do your water fill animation, change animation to water full. Or empty it and then turn off the sprite.

Alternately, if you wanted to get really creative, you could have a picture appear at the base of the pool that starts transparent then becomes opaque and then move it up until it looks like the pool is filled. You'll also need a picture for the section of the map below the pool over the picture of the water so that the illusion that it's actually filling is complete. Then you turn on a switch that changes the graphic event of the area around the pool to the same as a water graphic.

This is, of course, if you don't mind the surface of the water looking still.
