NPC

Go to the event layer, double click somewhere on the grid. Select a character graphic to represent the NPC. There you go. To make the character talk, make the event a push key event and put a message in the event.

It's virtually the exact same procedure. The only difference is that you double click on the white box labeled 'Graphic' as opposed to clicking on the 'set' box in RM2K/3.






Regardless of whether he is in 2K/3 or XP, I'm worried about the lack of compassion you all are showing for this child's welfare.

A hydra sounds like a fine boss, but probably not as appropriate for a common enemy.

Show some appreciation you mutt and use the Helpfile in RMXP with such basic questions. If you don't have the helpfile then I guess you're using an illegal copy.

if I didnt have enough people talk like that allready I would almost be insalted by that. the helpfile has nothing to do with a hydra being a good thing to put in a sewer. and now I dont have the money to actualy buy this anyways but I wanted to see if I could make a game in 30 days

I was referring to the NPC event and the word you're looking for is insulted not the stuff you add to your dinner.

Read this and think if you should put in a hydra inside a sewer.

I'd say no.

Common enemies inside sewers are typically rats anyways. A final boss in a sewer shouldn't be a hydra because it doesn't live in that environment but it's your game and your opinion matters the most.
