Have you ever thought of a fully online RPG Creator?
Imagine some of these features:
* Runs in a web browser (Google Chrome) without any Flash or Java download required
* See others editing in real time, so if they paint some grass you see it immediately
* Play and edit at the same time, so you can interact with the world as you build it and see what your users will experience
* Uses WASD keys for movement, and then Enter/Escape/Spacebar for other stuff
* Chat with other editors in the program as you edit
* Scripting language that runs in the browser
* Scripting language that save information to a player's profile with variables like @variablename = "Hello"
Well my friends have been working on a side project that does that. http://rpgfx.com
Looking for suggestions on what priorities you would want implemented in such a system. All of these are planned but going to take a bit to implement.
* Battle system?
* Item system?
* More fine-tuned control over editing and adding custom graphics
* Design priorities, requests, or suggestions
Note:
* Only tested in Chrome on Windows. Might not work with Firefox or IE, and definitely not on mobile.
* Move with WASD. Edit by clicking "Edit this game"
* For security you can only edit some parts of the default starting map - move like four or five screens over from the starting position and you can edit everything.
