Mine doesn't mean what you'd expect. My username has always been, and still is demonlord5000. In the rare cases it is taken I sometimes edit it to be demonlord5k as an alternative. I do have a demonic name to go with the title, but I never use it because it just doesn't give the same vibe. The games I play also probably influenced me.
I don't get the vibe here, but a lot of people I know that live near me tend to associate angels as good, and demons as evil (I've never been a fan of such black and white thinking). I personally view all races (real or otherwise) as imperfect and as neutral aligned. I consider myself the demon that rose up, conquered the demons who weren't united and turned them into a force for good. I do think the demon race does have more of an affinity for evil than for good, so my name also means to rise up and overcome your instincts. As for the other 4999 demonlords....well...nobody cares about them. I honestly don't remember why I picked 5000, I think I just wanted something that stood out, and it stuck with me.

On youtube and most other places I'm SolMasterzzz. It's a name I came up with when I was like 12. Sol because it's my last name, and the triple Z because at that stage of the internet it was customary to add unnecessary Zs at the end of things.

I've always had nicknames of whatever my current RP character was ._.;
It's come full circle now that I don't really RP anymore. My first (and now current) nickname is based off a bad translation. In my FFRPG group they always kept nicknaming me "Illy", so that's just the shortened form of Illumina, the mistranslated form of Lightbringer from FF6.

When I was like 12 or something I wanted to make a game with a force like the Onion Knights from Final Fantasy because I thought the name "onion knight" was cool. SO, I replaced onion with gourd and the Clae part is supposed to be a name.
I thought it was really suave and cool at first but as I got older it seemed more and more dorky. Then I never changed it. Now its backstory is a little embarassing and I use the name Gourd Clae for everything online! ;w;

My username Starmage Might sound like it is indeed inspired from Disgaea's Starmage, but I actually made it way before I've played the actual game. ^_^ It was the username I used on MOBAs like HoN, LoL or DotA that I used to play with my siblings and friends. xD
The idea behind the username was that I loved the White-mage class of Final Fantasy, and because I think that my "mage-ness" revolves more around powers of the Stars, I then changed the "White" into "Star". xD
Though in recent times, I've been using the username White mage for other online games that I play. xD

I was born this way. My mom didn't even get to name me. It was already on the paperwork when they processed my newborn ass.
When I was really young and just got on the internet, I had just made my first fan character, Pyro.
I don't know how many sites I've joined, and I always struggled to keep my info., so I had to jump across many different names: Pyroboom(I think no account of mine currently uses this), Pyrode(current deviantart), Pyrosion(once again, defunct), Pyroslasher(an SMBX forum I no longer go to), and Pyrodoom(oh hey, lookie here!)
After I got rid of an old email because I was dumb and scared of being "hacked", I found I had a lot of difficulties making a new account for Google and Yahoo. I got annoyed, so when I had to settle for AOL, I named myself AngerIncarnate64 - 64 just legit being my favorite number because of the game system, Nintendo Sixty-FOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUU-
Anyways, that became my Steam name for a while until I met my boyfriend James, and watched some videos on The Beginner's Guide.
As silly, cheesy, and dumb as it sounds, I related with a character in the game so much that I had an existential crisis of sorts. James had to calm me down, and I had to promise to not act like that again. So, now my steam is ThePromiseIncarnate if I remember correctly, and my Discord was that for a while, but I frequently change it nowadays, normally to names fitting of my characters or that I find cute. I couldn't fit ThePromiseIncarnate onto Twitter, so I went by the name PromiseEmbodied instead.
Finally, I go by DissonantSerenity on Wattpad because I thought it sounded neat.
