Close I'm not looking for a team for my own project but I would like to help and vaulunteer for another team and or group make something. Since you're offering your skills, it might be more effective to say something more specifically like "looking to join a team/group" - or people might assume you're trying to recruit people to work on your own project.

Yeah, you should say offering help. There's a lot of people who want people to help them make their games.
